    1. [COPUEBLO] Robert COULTER / Vashti MC CORD
    2. Linda Hirst
    3. I am seeking information about Robert COULTER who appeared in 1880 census of Silver Cliff, Custer County, CO. His 1937 obituary mentioned a daughter, Mrs. B W McCord, and granddaughter, Mrs Dorothy Colby, of Pueblo, CO. Mrs. Lucetta Coulter's 1941obituary (Robert's wife) mentions a step-daughter, Mrs. Burton McCord, of Pueblo, CO. William Rutherford Coulter's 1933 obituary (Robert and Lucetta's son) mentions a half-sister, Vashti McCord, of Pueblo, CO. I would be forever grateful if someone knows something about Vashti Coulter McCord (Mrs. B W McCord) and her daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Colby and shares it with me. It took me a long time to find Robert because family did not know of his whereabouts. Although I found him in Chattanooga, TN at his death, I am very interested in his life before that. I would be happy to share his Coulter genealogy. Thank you in advance for any information, advice or clues about Robert, Vashti and her mother. Linda Coulter Hirst

    1. [COPUEBLO] Joseph Ross
    2. Donna Ross
    3. Looking for information on Joseph Ross b in Italy abt. 1887. He was married to Myrtle Barber b. 1891. Myrtle at 16 listed her name in Chaffee County as Frisquies on her marriage license which is not believed to be her real name. They had a daughter Mary born in 1908. Joseph filed with Immigration and Naturalization in 1904 in Boulder Co. In 1910 they were on the the census in Chaffee Co. Between 1910 and 1918 when Mary was placed for adoption after her mother couldn't care for her alone. Joseph was supposed to be killed in an accident where he was a smelter, possibly CF&I. No death certificate has been found. Mary remembers the area of Goats Hill and attending the Catholic Church in Pueblo. If any of this sounds familiar to anyone I would appreciate hearing from you. Also I read a message about CF&I records, where they are kept and about a museum which is in the making. If anyone can give me information on where the records are and the site for info. I would appreciate it. Thank you for your help. Donna Ross amb1ent@sprynet.com

    1. [COPUEBLO] Happy New Years
    2. Have a great New Year. I am looking for information both of my grandparents families. My grandfather was born in KS, but his family moved to the Pueblo area. My grandmother was also born in KS and her family also moved to the area. My grandfather was Arthur BEEMAN, and my grandmother was Helen COLVIN. I have their marriage date but not the place. I know that a lot of the BEEMAN's stayed in Colorado, but that the COLVINS moved to California. I do not know who came first, but my oldest aunt and uncles were born in CO and the rest of them born in CA. They had to come to CA somewhere between 1914 and 1916. My grandmother also taught school, as far as we know in CO. Any information would be great. Sharon CA
