    1. RE: [COPUEBLO] "Elite Studio -- Mechanics Bldg" Photographer?
    2. Sullivan
    3. There was a photo studio in Pueblo, Colorado called Baby Elite Studio. I also have some photos they did. I remember the business from my growing up years. I can't say when or if they stopped operations. I am certain the Pueblo Historical group can give some input on this. I believe the historical group is in the Public Library on Abriendo St., on the Mesa Junction. I have an unidentified photo of a very beautiful woman, in absolutely gorgeous clothes. Based on clothing style and the card stock of the mounting, I would guess it's from around the turn of the century, but I'm not very good at this yet. The photographer identification is "Elite Studio Mechanics Bldg. Pueblo" The first Pueblo that comes to mind is that of this list, so I thought I would ask -- does this studio name ring a bell with anyone? If so, do you have any more information on dates of operation, etc.? Thanks, Kristi Murdock Iowa

Co Queries Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Co/Pueblo/10200 Surname: Burkart ------------------------- My Great Aunt lived in Pueblo for many years and owned property there. Her residence there came about because her daughter, the only child as far as I know, was in the State Hospital and her mom needed to be close. As far as I know she died in the Early '50s but I am not certain. I do know that she lived at 1314 Francisco St in the early 1940's. Her name was Augusta Burkart and she was swedish. I would love to be able to begin to search in Sweden for Augusta and the one sister and two brothers that I know came eventually to Colorado. My grandfather was born in 1885 in Leadville. Any advice is asked for~ TIA Barb in San Angelo, Tx

    1. [COPUEBLO] Phoebe Daugherty Todd
    2. Georgia Ferry
    3. Looking for the family of Phoebe and Earnest Todd of Pueblo County, Colorado. She was born in IL in 1884 and died in Pueblo, Co. in 1953. I have her death certificate, but cannot find her sons. Their names are John W., haven't any dates on him, and think her second son was Norman. Hoping someone on the list can help. Also I found a notice from The Moore Enterprise, dated Friday May 12, 1905, Cleveland Co. and it states that a Mrs. Julia F. Baie of Saudwich, IL. died at the Iowa Hotel in Moore. I think The Iowa Hotel was located in Colorado. It says she was accompanied by her friend, Mrs. Earnest Todd. And they were on their way home to Colorado. I believe Mrs. Earnest Todd was my great aunt, that I am looking for. Would anyone know of this Mrs. Baie, so I could find if Mrs. Earnest Todd was my great aunt? I am pretty sure she is. Again, I 'm hoping someone can relate to this article and give me some insight. Thanks Georgia of IL.
