Evans, died Monday evening [August 3, 1959] at a local hospital where she had been confined since Feb. 10. She was born Feb. 22, 1884, at Saxton [Buchanan County] Mo., and had been a resident of Pueblo [Pueblo County] since 1903. George Frank McCrillis, her husband, an engineer for the Denver & Rio Grande Railroad, died Feb. 1, 1945. Survivors include her son, Ray F. McCrillis [deceased April 3, 1972] and [a] grandson. . . . She also is survived by three brothers, J. E., McGlothlin, 1702 Keeler [deceased January 15, 1980], H. A. McGlothlin, Phippsburg [deceased, December 17, 1961] and W. J. McGlothlin, Texas Creek [deceased February 6, 1965], and one sister, Mrs. Walter E. Caughman, Buena Vista [deceased January 21, 1973]. Special to The Times PUEBLO, JAN 6.-- About 9 o'clock last Saturday evening Carson Parker was found sitting in his chair dead. A pipe which he had been smoking had fallen to the floor and he appeared to have fallen asleep. It is thought death was caused by a stroke of paralysis. Carson Parker has for the past year had been writing the editorials in the Evening Press. He was a native of North Carolina, a graduate from the University of Virginia and a scholar of considerable learning, particularly in languages. For many years he was a minister of the gospel. His wife and daughter reside at the family homestead in Huntington, Ind.

I have been doing a study of the cemeteries in this area. According to the Pueblo web page there are a couple of more cemeteries up here in the Rye area, but I haven't located them yet. When I get the coordinates on them I will go out and document them and take photos. Do you have obits for the Sheets family?     3. Here's a link the tells a bit about the Blocks. It was, indeed, originally called Corona Park. http://www.puebloguidebook.com/south/index/article/4 I don't know what enumeration district it was in.....There may have been a CF&I company housing area also called the Blocks. I'm not sure that they were the same area. The Corona Park area was originally an upscale area of homes. When I was a boy, say about 60 years ago, the Blocks (Corona Park) had largely been converted into mulitfamily houses......I once knew an absolutely gorgeous girl who lived there. She had absolutely zero interest in me ;-( OK, OK, I know that ain't genealogy. I'm gone.
