Looking for a Johnson needle in the Colorado haystack. Samuel who also used Abraham, was born abt. 1823in Oh. mar 1849 Sarah Newell, Had one son ASA, div. 1851 mar. 1851, Virginia Hall. Left her and two daus in about 1870, and went to Colo. According to a grandau abt. 1895 in a cincinnatti paper there was a request for whereabouts of ASA & his sisters, Rosa/Rosannah mar Conley and Lucy mar. to a Yates or a Burnfield. This was in regards to estate in Colo. No one knows where the estate was nor the death date. It is not known whether there was a mar.. in Colo. Anyone have any suggestions as to where to start looking? Is there a unclaimed dept. in Colo? Surely this a outdated claim but perhaps records are still around but where???
