I am researching a branch of the BLUME family who moved to Lamar, CO about 1915. This includes Fred Blume, who likely died at Lamar,sometime after 1932 and by 1963. Children who likely remained in the area Irma Blume, wife of Claude or Chas. HOGARTH, Raymond BLUME, Roy BLUME, Alice Blume who married ?Jack BOWER,and Lillie Blume (married name HAZELTON). Roy Blume was Chief of Police in Lamar in the 1960's. Any help with this family branch would be appreciated. Also can anyone from Prowers Co. tell me anything about a condensed milk factory that was in Lamar in the early 1900's? It was probably a branch of the Pet Milk Co. or perhaps its predecessor the Highland Milk Co. of Highland, Illinoiw. Highland is where the Blume family came from.
