Surnames: Copeland Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/ikJ.2ACIB/1617 Message Board Post: David Copeland, son of Eli and Celia Copeland, was born Apr 1828 in NC, moved with his parents to Buchanan Co MO. and is with his parents in 1850. 1860 finds him in St Louis Co MO with wife Isabella and 2 children. 1870, 1880, and 1900 shows him in Crawford Co MO. In 1900 his wife Isabella (called Eliza that year; don't know why) indicates that she has had 11 children and 5 are living. I can only find one of the 5, and that is Alfred who lives at home. The known children are: Alfred, Laura, Martha, Cora, Lavenia (died young), Ella, Minnie (died young), Essie, and John. Does anyone know anything about these Copeland children?
