Wardlaw complimented Miss Gladys Copeland Friday afternoon. Miss Copeland, who is a graduate of the Martha Berry School in Rome, joined the nursing force of the Scottish Rite Hospital eight years ago, and during the intervening period she has become not only an efficient factor in the splendid work of the important institution, but has endeared herself alike to her co-workers and to the children in her care. It is with the deepest regret that her resignation has been accepted, and it is as a graceful expression of this regret that Mrs. Wardlaw entertained in Miss Copeland's honor a few close friends of the honoree. Mrs. Wardlaw's home on Juniper Street was decorated with pink and white flowers, and this color scheme was carried out in all the details of the beautifully appointed table and the delicious refreshments.
