I was wondering if some kind soul who has access to these two censuses would mind checking to see if they could find the following Copelands: 1870 most likely Georgia Matthew Copeland - Head of household Harriet Copeland (maiden name nelson) William A. Copeland - son about 2-4 years of age. 1910 census either Georgia, Wisconsin, or Illinois or at this point any state! same as above, except William would now be married to Geneva or Eva (Haney) They were married in Sylvester, Green County, Wisconsin in 1903. He lists his occupation as either a painter or Decorator I have been unable to locate any of these people, William is my Great Grandfather and I have only been able to find him in the 1920 census in Washington State and 1930 census in Oregon. I am pretty sure the A. stands for Alexander. I would really appreciate any help you can give me, as I am really at a dead end. Thank you Linda
