To John: What you're saying is intriging. Most of us have only info on the Copelands in this country. My first reference and major help was Herman Coplen's book. With all the research he did, he only guessed that the beginning of my line in this country was a couple from he didn't know where.....It's a safe assumption that they came from the British Isles. Probably England, as you say. Do let us all know what you know. Have you contributed to the Copeland DNA project? I think the least expensive one is thru National Geograpic. I'm not sure how I can get involved.
