Absolutely, Barbara. I found some books at the Family History Library, today, that I'd die for. But, there, you are limited to how much time you can hold down the copy machine. Down in the British basement, today, and they have only two copy machines and one was out of order. So, you limit yourself to the most important pages. Amazon sells second hand books. They're usually from individual vendors. But, I've found the prices to be good and have bought books, CDs and DVDs from the second hand dealers. The disadvantage is that each one charges shipping & handling. Where, if you bought all your books, etc. from Amazon or any one dealer, you pay less in that department. --- BWGood@aol.com wrote: > > In a message dated 10/3/05 8:44:26 AM, > jeaninnapa@sbcglobal.net writes: > > > > If you can get the book and can > > afford to do so, make a zerox-type copy. > > > I have photo-copied entire books that were old and out of > print.
