    2. My husbands line is Copeland, I am researching it. I have never heard of SLC, BTW, or FHL. Is this why I am not getting very far in my research?

    3. SLC = Salt Lake City, Utah FHL = Family History Library in SLC. The largest collection of genealogy information in the world. It's a Mormon (Latter Day Saints - LDS) owned, and run, facility - free to the public. The FHL catalog may be reached thru http://www.familysearch.org Your local LDS church will have a FHC (Family History Center) where you can explore more, using their computer system. If you don't have an LDS church nearby, go online with familysearch to locate one. The church has filmed records and books all over the world. The films may be ordered to view at your FHC for the cost of mailing. BTW = "by the way" Tommy Copeland <lonelyguy552001@yahoo.com> wrote: Who was your father, grandfather, or greatfather.
