Father was Joseph Copeland born abt 1796 in North Carolina who married Charlotte (no last name known). My search stops at Joseph, also my Copeland family line is heavy with Cherokee Indian descendents. Richard and Susan had sons William, Pinckney, Joe and James Cornelius Copeland.
