(Sexton), 83. Escena went to be with her Lord on November 27, 2005. Services will be 3 PM Nov. 30, 2005. Visitation with family present will be 6-8 PM Tuesday, Nov. 29, both at Lakeview Funeral Home. Escena was born in Oxford, AR on Oct. 13, 1922. She was one of nine children born to Marvin & Dolly Sexton. Escena is preceded in death by brothers Fred, Dean, and Vernon Sexton, and sisters Ada Smith and Ruby Stewart. She is survived by her husband Harold C. of the home, son Jimmie Copeland of Augusta, daughters and sons-in-law, Betty and Dennis McCart of Derby, , and Annette and Mike McKinney of Wichita, twin sister Virena Graham of Ralston, NB, brothers Elmer & Leonard Sexton of Weneatchee, WA, six grandchildren, Wade McCart of Derby, Kimberly (Jeff) Stokes of North Pole, AK, Melinda (Kevin) Wright of Augusta, and Rachel, Cindy, and Sarah McKinney of Wichita, eight great-grandchildren, Bo, Kalyn, Devyn & Gabrielle McCart, Jessica and Delainey Stokes, and Amanda and Megan Wright. Escena was loved by all who knew her and was a very giving and devoted wife and mother. She adored her family and the children she tended over the years.
