Julia & Karen, I have a copy of the Alexander Copeland file, too. It says that the children of Alexander & Rebecca Copeland were James, Charles, William, Margaret, and Elizabeth. The application was filed in Rutherford Co.,NC, and that Alexander had enlisted in Spartansburg Co, SC. I will send both of you copies of the files.
