Dear Listers, I have a Singleton Copeland that is fairly well identified: born about 1807 in NC or SC. Possibly the son of Anthony M Copeland and wife Nancy Craig. Much circumstantial evidence suggests this to be so. Yet, over the years, I have been tantalized by the name of David Singleton Copeland that was associated with Lott Copeland as a son, I believe. The Singleton name is not common. Does anyone know the connection, if there even is one? Thank you for any input.
