I'm wondering if anyone knows anything about this Samuel Copeland who lived in Halifax County, North Carolina. There are several entries for him in Court & Deed records, but haven't seen anything connecting him to any of the other Copelands of North Carolina. Here is what I know about him, and would appreciate any further info that can be supplied about exactly who he may have been and what may have happened to his children because I've never seen these names anywhere else: "Genealogical Abstracts of Wills, 1758-1824, Halifax County, North Carolina", Margaret M.
