I am researching my greataunt Elizabeth COPELAND. There is certain data that I have verified but there is also other data that I now have some doubts about. I know definitely that she was the d/o Joseph COPELAND and Elizabeth (Lizzie) McCLYMONT, and was born c1884, Durham, ENG 31 March 1901 she was living with her parents and younger siblings at Hisehope, Muggleswick, Durham, ENG where she was a dressmaker on her own at home. The last verifiable date was 10 September 1902 when she was still unmarried and she was a witness at the marriage of her sister Margaret COPELAND to James PAYNE [my grandparents] at the Muggleswick Parish Church, Muggleswick, Durham, ENG. Now the following is the data which I have been unable to verify. It may be correct, incorrect or partly correct. Elizabeth married William BROADBENT (second marriage?). Known children were Nellie, Ann, Alice, Bill Jim Payne New Zealand [email protected]
