Also, my files show he had 13 children: Samuel, John, Alexander, Sarah, William, Mary Jane "Babe", Martha, James, Ella, Lorenzo, Margaret "Shug", Harriet and Adam. Also, I believe James and Nancy were cousins. He lived his adult life and died in DeKalb County, Alabama; the bridge he built was in Mills Creek, Alabama. Supposedly, a cabin and barn still stand. Lastly, he supposedly served time with his brother Joseph in the CSA.
