thanx. I called Mrs. Coplen, also. She didn't give me her son's phone # and I was unable to get it from information. But, obviously, it would have been a waste of everybody's time. Are you related to Herman? I'll just have to get by with my machine copy jean bbm34 <bbm34@prodigy.net> wrote: I spoke w Mrs Coplen and she does not have any more books. As far as I can tell, my Copeland family does not relate to those in the Coplen book. I gave the names of my ancestors to Herman Coplen's son and according to him, they were not in the book. Mine are from the Copeland/Ratliff, Copeland/Taberer, Copeland/Woodley, Copeland/Lott, Copeland/Bilbrey line. Joel Josiah Copeland/Sarah Bilbrey had two sons - James and Richard - Richard's daughter, Mary Ann, married her cousin, Jefferson Copeland who was the son of James. Their daughter, Margaret Elizabeth Copeland is my great-grandmother.
