Margy Ann Copeland might be Martha Copeland, the daughter of Benjamin Copeland of Warren Co. NC. Here is the list of Benjamin's family: Benjamin Copeland b:abt 1816 NC Frances Copeland (Hedgepeth) b: 1822 NC - wife Penina " (aka: Penny) b: 1844 NC - dau Martha " (aka: Margie or Macky) b:abt 1846 - dau Mary " b: 1847 NC -dau Washington " (aka: John) b: 1850 NC - son Harrison " (aka: Henry) b: 1850 NC - son (twins) Benjamin " (aka: Baldy) b: 1855 NC - son Frances " (aka: Folly or Fallly)b: 1855 NC - dau (twins) Elisha (aka: Edwin) b: 1857 NC - son Louisa " b: 1859 NC - dau Virginia " b: 1863 NC - dau also: in the 1870 Warren Co/Township 8 - Image 31-#243 cousin Alfred (Exum) Copeland age 14 was living with family.This was one of Joseph Copeland's sons. Alfred had married his cousin Virginia by 1880, and was also on the 1880 census, living next door to the family. I believe Ben was Joseph's brother. Ben's daughter Penny - was married to James Thomas Green in 1867, and they were my 2nd ggrandparents. Mary married Rufus Richardson on 2/11/1869 in Warren Co.
