Lott Copeland (and son Landen) with Lott's sister Sally Carty and her family came into MO somewhere between 1821 and 1827. I know there were more Copelands involved, just can't put names to them! Just hints from Census names that other Copelands were around. I will keep my eyes open. If I get a Joel and Sarah, I"ll know where to holler. Ted

Thompson in 1841, Robinson in 1843, John in 1845, Lafayette in 1847, Sarah in 1849, Andrew in 1850, W.P.H. in 1852, Milton in 1854, Mary in 1856 and William in 1858. I have the information on William, his family and where they are buried, thanks to my cousin. But as for everyone else, I'm at a loss. Marilyn

I have some info on Copelands in MO. (my branch came to TX in 1870's). They were also somewhat related with Barnes. The ones I know of hung around mostly in Reynolds and Iron Counties in MO.
