My great grandfather was Cary Wesley Henry (b 22 Oct 1887 d 3 Jun 1979) according to his death certificate his father was Zeb Henry and his mother was Artie Cooper. According to his application for a Social Secrurity number his father was Ele? Henry and his mother was Artie Hooper. I am wondering if Artie is a nickname or if anyone has any information on a Artie Cooper from the mountains of NC. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
