George, I do not have information on your Cordelia, but I do have a Cordelia Cooper in my files. She was born about 1879 in Sidon, AR (White Co.) Cordelia and I are descended from a line that goes back to Allyss Elizabeth Benson and John Coggin of Davidson CO, NC. I notice the name Benson in your line. The Cooper's and these two families were in the Davidson Co. area. My Elizabeth Coggin is their granddaughter. She was born in about 1813, married John Cooper and moved west to KY. John died in KY in 1854, and Elizabeth went on to AR. I cannot connect these families to you, but thought I would put this in because of similarities in names. I do not have any proof of parents for my John Cooper. Just a statement on his death certificate, which states that his father's name was John. Good Luck. If you find a connection, let me know.
