This has not been updated. I have more info but haven't updated my file yet. There is a Thomas, son of Issac Washington and grandson of Alston . Danny Cooper Byrd Alston Cooper: Moved to Hall County Georgia between 1834 and 1836. Alston and brother Jonathan were married to two sisters, Lydia and Mary Magdaline Massey. The 1850 Hall County Georgia Census shows eight children with just initials. Alston moved after the 1850 Census to be near his brother Jonathan in Monroe County Mississippi. Another brother Amos lived just across the state line in Marion County, Alabama. It is said that he later moved his family to Lee County Miss. (Tupelo) where he died in 1858. Jonathan also moved to Lee County (Guntown near Tupelo) and died there in 1865. Both families later moved to the area of Stamps Arkansas (SE Ark) after the deaths of the two brothers. 1850 Hall Ga Census 1. Alston 39 Male SC 2. Lydia 39 Female SC 3. G.J. 16 Female SC 4. P 2 Female GA Issac Washington born 1841 to Alstin Cooper and Lydia Massey married Loviet Telesa Nix and had the following children: Laura married Andrew Altom Rennie married Sam Massey Martha J. married unknown Massey William J 1869-1892 Thomas J. 1874-1892 Moses 1881-1941 married Loula D. Unknown Also there was a Thomas J Cooper son of Eli Cooper born 1809 Union Cty SC. Eli was the son of Stacy Cooper and Grandson of William and Lidy.
