    3. As always still looking for Descendants of Peter+* Cooper of Rowley, Mass. Generation No. 1 1. Peter+*1 Cooper1,2,3 was born 1607 in England3, and died 16893. He married Amelia+* w:Cooper-P4,5. Notes for Peter+* Cooper: Peter Cooper, the emigrant, came to New England in 1635, a passenger in the ship "Susan & Ellen". Then aged twenty-eight, he settled in the town of Rowley, Essex county, Massachusetts, (named after Rowley, England) and was the owner of a house lot of an acre and an half as early as 1643. His will is on record in the Probate Office of that county. Rowley records give the names and births of one son and three daughters. the son, Samuel, remained in Rowley, and was himself the father of three sons, beside daughters. Of these three sons, the grandchildren of the emigrant, Samuel and Moses, died apparently without male issue to continue the line ; the third son Leonard, removed from Rowley to Newcastle, Maine and left a large family of children, as you will see in the following Cooper families Peter the emigrant, born 1607, married Emme, Ame, or Amelia, who died in Rowley, Massachusetts in 1689, and was buried in Rowley. All of the issue of this union were born at Rowley, Massachusetts. In 1975, the author Delmar Frank Cooper, went to Rowley, Massachusetts, and found it to be a beautiful small town, just off interstate 95 in Massachusetts. They have a very nice tourist attraction of old seventeen century homes.
