Gary and Kathleen, Maybe we need to begin pursuing this earlier line of Jonathan and Sarah Hibbs from Buck's Cty PA as well as the children of William Cooper and Thomasine Porter of England. I can trace my Cooper line back to ca 1700 in VA. I can't seem to connect to any one for sure before that. This would be a Benjamin Cooper, I do believe he was born in this country. His descendants went to Union Co., SC. some stayed in that area, my line went to Giles CO., TN and on to the AR Terr. ca 1819.
