Hi, I have recently recieved a copy of my grandmothers birth certificate, on which it states her parents were Louis F. Cooper and Harriet Brown. It only gives their birth place as the usa. Could anyone tell me how I can find out more about or where I could go to get more information on their place of birth. Any help would be greatly appreciated. My grandmother, Mary Louisa Cooper was born May 1, 1901 in Richmond, Indiana. Nancy...Have you looked in the 1910 census for Richmond, Indiana? If they are listed there, there should be a state of birth indicated. Good luck! Lois in CA
