Hi Danny, Yes, this was one that was somewhat speculative to me too. And I have followed your posts and read your line from James Fennimore(in fact, have even referred some others to it.) So I have been keeping an eye on it, "just in case", as we say. Since you are from Jacob's line, I wondered at Emma's pairing of "Lydia Clark" as Jacob's wife on Wm.'s FGS. That is just a little too "coincidental", with William's wife being "Lidy", a more obvious than some nickname for Lydia. Who do you have for Jacob's wife? William was apparently speculative to her too, as she has a blank space on David's first child, with a notation "No William", but then she begins another one for William. I'm not entirely sure at this point where she got the other names, but that is not to make light of her work. She is a 30 yr. +- veteran of genealogical research, and a DAR member herself, and does include original documents for her more certain(i.e. recent) lines. Anyway, do you agree with his children as Jacob; Wm., Jr m. Mary HUNTER; Stacy m. Tabitha PIERSON(sp?); Nathan; Samuel; Jeremiah; Jonathan; David; Abraham; Elizabeth m.___ BUNTING; Wortham; Martha m. _WHELAS; Joseph Hartzfield? I also have some more Wm.s and Davids. More to keep straight. (;-) I do appreciate your input, and value your insight. Nancy
