    3. Randal, I have no knowledge of any of my COOPER or FOWLER lines being in New England, but that doesn't mean much; just that I may not have gotten to that point in my research. I can tell you that Archibald FOWLER, my GGG-G'father, named one of his daughters Lavinia (called Vina), not the most common of given names and he and his wife tended to use family names.
