Since I last wrote, I have found my William on the Clayton County Iowa census for 1860, 1870, 1880. His wife's name is Mary and she was born in Virginia. William was born in Ohio according to the census. The children listed on the 1960 census are Alonzo, age 11 born in Michigan; Melissa, age 6 born in Iowa; Adelbert, age 4 born in Iowa. There is a James Huggust, age 74 born in Virginia. I think this might be Mary's father. On the 1870 and 1880 census there are more children. I can send them to you if you are interested. I also have some marriage records for this family now too. Let me know if you are interested.
