I am ggggranddaughter to Mildred Cooper who was born 8 Apr. 1793/83 in Milledgeville, Baldwin Co., GA. She married Jacob Elrod in Orleans, Orleans Co, IN. Their daughter Caroline Elrod moved from Indiana to Missouri then on to Weatherford, TX. where both she and her husband died. Marion Riley FOX, son of Caroline and her husband Riley FOX moved to an area around Altus Oklahoma...then on to FT. Smith and died in Spiro, LeFlore Co., Oklahoma. I can't help but wonder if there is a connection with your COOPER line. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get farther back than Mildred and even with the wonderful technology we now have, no one seems to be able to connect Mildred into their lineage.
