I am hoping someone can shed some light on these missing persons. Arthur Henry COOPER b 1873, Rockhampton, Qld, Australia m Eliza Ann WOOLLEY at Ipswich Qld 1894. Both worked as school teachers in Queensland. In January 1900 they were transferred to Texas, Qld. In December 1901 while his wife was in Ipswich for the school holidays, he resigned from the education department "leaving Qld" He deserted Eliza and her 3 children and is to believed to have absconded with the assistant teacher who also resigned in Dec 1901 "leaving Qld". She was Violet Emily Alexander ALCORN.
