My question is my husband's grand mother was a Cooper. So how does it work for him. Margaret (Peggy) Cooper married John Boone. Margaret (Peggy) Cooper's father was William Cooper born 4 May 1762 Monmouth, NJ. We know of no one from this line to help us. Any suggestions on how to find out which Cooper line we come from. William Cooper married Elizabeth Richmond. This is all I have. Joy Durrett From: "H. The Cooper Surname Reconstruction Project now has 84 participants. Seventy-seven have returned their DNA kits and analysis has been completed on 71. Forty-six different Cooper-lines have been identified in the USA and one in Canada. Many of the Cooper-lines originated in the northeast. H.
