Vicki and Nancy, Vicki, I'm not able to help you much on how to find out about births in Madison Co, KY. I've been looking for the kids of Covington and or Roberts/ Richards but haven't located much in that direction in KY. Probably too early and I haven't found if they were baptized. Nancy, I have quite a bit on Leighton/ Layton Cooper,he had lots of brothers and sisters, among them Rachel. Leighton was married to a Grizzel/Guzzle Covington and that is probably the source of the name Covington. As after him there was a John Covington Cooper, and my grandfather, George Thomas Covington Cooper It stopped there. I believe Grizzel's father was William Covington of Culpeper Co, VA, and have some documentation to that. Will hang on to your info aned if I run across anything will let you know. Pat Cooper Boden
