Hi, I'm new to the list and I'm looking for info on Charles Daniel Cooper m. Susan E. Kear. They were in Nebraska in the 1800s and he received a pension for service in the Civil War and the Mexican War. I will write again with more specific information but I thought someone might recognize this couple right off. Thanks! Sorry, I should have included that Charles was first married to a Mary Margaret Whitbeck..He claimed in his pension papers that she had died in 1865/68 in St. Paul MN, but have since heard the story that he possibly didn't return to her after the civil war and she assumed he had died. There may have been a son named George Walter Cooper. He then married Susan E. Kear. Janie Chavez
