Recognized!!! Charles Daniel Cooper married first to Mary Whitbeck and second to Susan E. Kear. I have information from both marriages. By his first wife he had two sons, Charles and George (both names used again by second marriage). My granddaughter descends from George (of first marriage). Mary Whitbeck did not die in 1868 as stated in Charles' application for military pension (Civil War), but remarried in 1870 to George Woodward in Anoka Co., MN and lived into the 1900s!!
