Wrong William. The William I'm looking for was in Illinois in 1833 and married Polly Towns. She could have been a second wife however. I don't have place of birth or parents of William. His son William H Cooper was brought to TX in 1853 by his mother, her sister and brother in law. Thanks again,George --WebTV-Mail-24833-2793 Content-Disposition: Inline Content-Type: Message/RFC822 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7Bit Received: from smtpin-102-6.bryant.webtv.net (209.240.198.43) by storefull-154.iap.bryant.webtv.net with WTV-SMTP; Sun, 26 Nov 2000 14:03:03 -0800 (PST) Received: by smtpin-102-6.bryant.webtv.net (WebTV_Postfix) id F16461B5; Sun, 26 Nov 2000 14:03:03 -0800 (PST) Delivered-To: gwwilson@webtv.net Received: from lists5.rootsweb.com (lists5.rootsweb.com [63.92.80.123]) by smtpin-102-6.bryant.webtv.net (WebTV_Postfix) with ESMTP id 22CFA192; Sun, 26 Nov 2000 14:03:02 -0800 (PST) Received: (from slist@localhost) by lists5.rootsweb.com (8.10.1/8.10.1) id eAQLxfu06196; Sun, 26 Nov 2000 13:59:41 -0800 Resent-Date: Sun, 26 Nov 2000 13:59:41 -0800 X-Original-Sender: harvey@wnclink.com Sun Nov 26 13:59:40 2000 Message-ID: <002301c057f5$3399dee0$8551bdd8@default> From: "Joanne and Earl" <harvey@wnclink.com> Old-To: <COOPER-L@rootsweb.com> Subject: Re: [COOPER-L] KY- Coopers Date: Sun, 26 Nov 2000 16:58:05 -0500 MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit X-Priority: 3 X-MSMail-Priority: Normal X-Mailer: Microsoft Outlook Express 4.72.2106.4 X-MimeOLE: Produced By Microsoft MimeOLE V4.72.2106.4 Resent-Message-ID: <771_K.A.bgB.NfYI6@lists5.rootsweb.com> To: COOPER-L@rootsweb.com Resent-From: COOPER-L@rootsweb.com Reply-To: COOPER-L@rootsweb.com X-Mailing-List: <COOPER-L@rootsweb.com> archive/latest/6477 X-Loop: COOPER-L@rootsweb.com Precedence: list Resent-Sender: COOPER-L-request@rootsweb.com -----Original Message----- From: George Wilson <gwwilson@webtv.net> To: COOPER-L@rootsweb.com <COOPER-L@rootsweb.com> Date: Saturday, November 25, 2000 8:58 PM Subject: Re: [COOPER-L] KY- Coopers I am interested in the William Cooper you have listed. What dates do you have for him? Do you have a place of death and burial? George George, Don't know if your message was for me or not, but I am researching Wm H Cooper, born 1822 Died 1862, married to Margaret Walker. He was a tailor in Burke County, NC as a young man, moved to Texas because of his health and then back to Chattooga County, Ga. where he died. I am looking for the names of his parents. If this is the same Wm, I will share anything I have Joanne Harvey ==== COOPER Mailing List ==== Keep this list and over 6000 others online with your RootsWeb membership or sponsorship.
