Hi My COOPERs came from Montgomery Co. N.C. to Steward Co. Tn. I know Mark COOPER was in Steward Co. Tn. 1818. H e was born in N.C. He was the son of Joseph COOPER and Celia McCLENDON marreid in Montgomery Co. N.C. in 1787-1789. Joseph and his family came to Carroll and Weakley Co. Tn.in the early 1820s.t They were in Carroll Co. by 1823.
