My Coopers orginate in New Jersey. William Cooper was born in 1762 in New Jersey. My research indicates this family socialized with those of the Puryear/Paris area but never intermarried. Do you have any record on any of these Coopers and any possible family connection with the Henry County Coopers? I suspect there is a family tie somewhere, but have never been able to make an association. I know that relatives of these Calloway County Coopers, originated as far as my research has been able to verify, go back to Berkeley County, Virginia in the mid 1700s. Some descendants of these Montgomery County, Kentucky Coopers moved to Bath County and Garrard County, Kentucky. As far as the Berkeley County connection, indications suggest that Pennsylvania or Maryland may be an origination point. Just wondering if you might add any suggestion?
