Am seeking information on lost branch of COOPERS. These COOPERS originate in Union Co. SC, then go to Spartanburg SC. Thomas William COOPER 1846 - 1915 and his wife, Martha Ann Hollis, are buried New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Cross Anchor area of Spartanburg. He had at least one son Thomas Lafayette Cooper who went to Laurens Co., SC. Would like to know more information on this line. Also, I have info on a letter dated 1976 that says one of Thomas' descendents in Laurens had the COOPER Family Bible. I would love to have a copy of the names/dates listed in the Bible. And, just to push my luck, we are in desperate need of a male carrying the Cooper name for DNA research. There is only one known from the Spartanburg branches, and no luck there.
