Hi Barbara...I have some Coopers in Ky in the early 1800's. I dont have a Christopher, that I know of, The Cooper family I have came to Christian County Ky about 1830. Wells Cooper and Elizabeth Hogan had several children by the 1840's. Wells died about 1836, Elizabeth was still living in the 1870 census. They were from Tn and N.C. Out Coopers have had six DNA test , this connects three different Cooper families. If your Cooper has the test, and there is a match, this would left you know if you connect to Our Line... Looking forward to hearing from you... Later...Joyce ----- Original Message ----- From: "Barbara Wimm" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, June 21, 2004 3:23 PM Subject: Re: [COOPER] Cooper in Missouri > Thank you for the reply. Hi Gloria...My Coopers came from Currituck and Halifax Counties N.C. and moved in to Bedford, Rutherford, Williamson, Gibson and Wayne Counties in Tn. From there some went into Ky about 1830, and others came to Ark. about 1845. By 1845 they were out of N.C. and Tn. Will exchange anyone if you think we have a match. John, John Jr. , Samuel, Isles,George, William Monroe, Peyton , Allen, Wells, Zacheus are some of the names...
