    3. Looking for infomation on the Cooper families that were in Lincoln Co, TN on the 1820, 1830 and 1840 census. If part of Lincoln Co became Marshall Co, MS then my Noah Cooper might have never moved. I will work on any thing you might be able to share with me.

County Boundary Changes Between 1810-1820, a small portion of Indian land was added forming the southeast corner of the county. In 1836, the northwest portion of Lincoln County given to form part of Marshall County. In 1871, the northeast portion of Lincoln County given to form over one half of Moore County. ****** This is from the Marshall Co, MS gen web site: Marshall County was established February 9, 1836, the year in which the Chickasaw session of 1832 was divided by the commonwealth into political organizations.
