Alva Burton Cooper was the son of Peter W Cooper who was born May 1831 Sterling NY and died Hannibal NY on Sep 1914 and his mother was Ruth E. Baird who was born in 1839 in New York and died Sterling, New York around 1881 and Peter father was John Cooper (2) born about 1801 in Washington Co., New York and died in Sterling Cayuga Co NY 1848 his wife was Fanny Bunnell abt. 1802 New York died in Sterling about 1850 married in NYabout 1820 , was the son of John Cooper was born in1748 in Ireland and died in Washington Co., New York Jan 1803 or so wife name was Jane and died in Washington Co., about 20 years later.
