This Malichia was a brother to my husband's 4 great-grandfather, John Cotton Cooper. Both were sons of David Cooper and his wife Elizabeth, supposedly Wilder, from Spartanburg, SC. Go to www.ftdna.com, then put Cooper into the "search projects" field in the upper right corner, or you can go alphabetically. Then click on the Cooper project link, maintained by Hiram Ben Cooper.
