Hi, I have a brick wall and I welcome any suggestions on how to find info, if it exists. My father's name is Marvin Cooper, born 4 March 1942, mother Mary Cooper (Parish), father unknown. I would love suggestions on how to find his father. He says his mother didn't tell him, nor her husband who the father was. Mary's mother made her put my father in foster care. His foster parents are Benjamin and Lois Harris. He said until he started to go to school, he was known as Jerry Harris. When he went to school he was officially known as Marvin Thomas Cooper. He says his father's name isn't on his birth certificate. Any suggestions on how to find out who his father was, or is that information just lost because she never told anyone that we know of.
