Hi All, I am having trouble finding out any information on the parents and siblings of my ggg grandmother Mary Ann (Cooper) COLE. She was born about 1848. I do not know the exact birthplace. Her parents were a Samuel and Mary COOPER. Samuel and Mary were living with Mary Ann and her husband William COLE in the 1881 census and resided in Dartmouth. Also living with them were two boys named William COOPER and John COOPER age 15 and 6 respectively. I am thinking that these boys were sons of one of her brothers. Mary Ann died Sept. 20,1936, Woodlawn, Halifax Co., Nova Scotia As per handwritten notes by my paternal grandmother she has listed them listed as follows. Fred and Sarah COOPER Children: Isabella, Mary Ann, Fred, Tom, Bill, and Theusa Isabella married an unknown MacKAY. Theusa married an unknown MacDONALD. I have no idea who her brothers married.
