Ben; Just thought I would let you know, the marriage license/application for Josephine Leona Hampton and Lee Allen Cooper (Sr) gave me nothing. No parents information on Lee or anything. I did send the census report of 1930 to my ex-mother-in-law showing the two Cooper families in McDonald County, Mo. I ask her if she recognized any of the names and if she ever knew that Lee was called by his middle name of Allen? She is elderly and not well, so I do not know what I will get from her or if I will get anything from her? Hello Terrie, My name is Curtis Reynolds. My Cooper family is from McDonald county, MO. I have a large record on my side of the family there. They were Quakers and easy to trace. This may not help but I have an Allen Cooper, parents Isaac Cooper Jr. and Elizabeth Kennedy. BUT, Allen was born July 28, 1838, so this may not help. This is not my line of Cooper's directly but I have some records of other related Cooper's in my data bases. Be glad to help if you think you can make anything of this. OH, Allen was born in Miami County, Ohio. I do not believe the Allen Cooper in McDonald Co. is the Cooper you are looking for as that is my husbands family. This Allen did have a sister, Juanita. Do you know where your Coopers were from origionally. I have our Coopers back to England.
