I am having a heck of a time with my Cooper line. I have a male cousin who is willing to do the DNA test for me too. I am looking for the family of George Benson Cooper who was born in PA in July 1863. He supposedly married Lucy S. McIntire,dtr of Frank McIntire and Sarah Celecta Barnes and had two children, Alonzo Benson Cooper, B: Hillsgrove, PA 22 June 1889,D:22 October 1964, Chattanooga, TN. and Florence G. Cooper B:17 May 1892, D: Moscow, Idaho 23 March 1918. I recall my mother saying that her Grandfather George and Grandmother Lucy divorced in about 1898. Lucy remarried a William Joseph Costigan and she died in Moscow, Idaho in 1922. George B. Cooper remarried an Elizabeth Mary Fogle nee Flick, lived in PA and they had a daughter Flossie born in 1903 who married a Bush and had a daughter Pearl M. Bush. I find them sometimes in the census records, but find no death of George in PA. Of course, it took me 20 years to find my grandfather Alonzo B. Cooper who disappeared when my mother was 19 and she passed on in 2003, age 82. I am diligent, but the brick wall is daunting. Anyone heard of these Coopers? Terry F.
