    3. I have been working on this family trying to learn more about them using the census. I am unable to get them back any further than Charles. Charles father may have been a Lewis but the Lewis in the 1810-1830 census does not seem to quite match. Esther is Charles's mother (according to the 1860 census) but have no idea who her husband was. Can someone help me learn more about them? I think that all the Coopers who lived in Dover Twp, Dutchess Co., NY were all related but have no idea how. Thanks for whatever help you can give me.
