My John Cooper was married to an Elizabeth "Betsey" Meyers. I know they had at least 1 child Eli born 1804. I believed at some point they lived in Mason County, KY. John's father was either Samuel or Duvalt/Duvall Cooper. John was supposedly killed during a political debate in the early 1800s. I believe these Cooper's immigrated from Germany to PA & then to KY. Teresa, I don't think there is a connection here. My John Cooper went to Rush Co., IN and married Martha L. Downey, in 1845.
